I am a research associate in the Medical Robotics and Computer Integrated Surgery (MeRCIS) Laboratory at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU), where I am working with Professor M. Cenk Cavusoglu.

I am also a Translational Research Fellow at Case Western Reserve University.

I am broadly interested in the role of perception and control in surgical robotics. My research focuses on developing estimation, control, and sensing methods with applications to a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) actuated and MRI-guided robotic catheter system for beating heart procedures. More recently, I have been developing active sensing methods for model-based tracking of anatomical structures.
